In mid-August, Jeep ® announced that customers may begin ordering the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk -- the quickest and most powerful SUV ever. Manufactured at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit, the new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will be arriving in showrooms this fall.

The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk matches a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine to a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. With a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a quarter mile mark of 11.6 seconds, you'll want to be extra-cautious when riding the highway -- especially since the vehicle has a top speed of 180 mph.

With all that go, you need some serious "whoa." Fortunately, the SUV comes with high-performance Brembo braking system-- the largest standard front brakes ever available on a Jeep -- that deliver 60-0 mph braking of 114 feet.
